REDD-PAC highlighted in IIASA 40th Anniversary

24-26 Oct 2012

IIASA's 40th Anniversary Conference examined the many sustainability and development challenges our world is facing and explore options for resolving them. Leading scientists and experts from a diverse range of disciplines, regions, and institutions presented findings which aimed to generate debate and further analyses, and help to identify viable pathways through these complex and interlinked global challenges.

The REDD-PAC project was presented as a poster in the 40th Anniversary Conference of IIASA. The poster prepared by Michael Obersteiner and the IIASA team on A spatial assessment of REDD+ policies in Brazil and the Congo Basin: the REDD-PAC project described the REDD-PAC project for the conferences attendees.

Aline Mosnier, from the REDD-PAC team, received the prize of best poster by an early career scientist for her work on The net global effects of alternative U.S. biofuel mandates.
